SINGLE FARM ORIGIN

rathclogh

Single Farm Origins showcase the remarkable, unique flavours that can only come through exhibiting ultimate precision of place. In this case, Richard Raftice’s Rathclogh Farm, County Kilkenny, only available in the USA, redolent of honeycomb, hay and freshly-baked fruit pies.

100% Irish barley, double-distilled before maturation in our industry-leading cask portfolio of Good Wood. Its flavour differences influenced by the varying soils, microclimates and topography (known as terroir) of each Single Farm Origin.

Fascinating to collect, compare and contrast natural flavours. Single Malt Whisky as it used to be.

TASTE NOTES

Appearance: A deep gold with oils and legs so slow that they make the turtle from the parable look like Usain Bolt.

Nose: Fields and barnyard, black pepper; hay that’s ready to be brought in; blackcurrant jam, warm vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb, citrus zest.

Taste: Sweet stewed apple, berry compote, pepper, mince pie, black cherries, cocoa.
